In order to process this information, we have

  • Obtained consent – customers that consent to signing up for our newsletter or subscribing for email notifications or sending a direct enquiry for contact from the Company.
  • Legal Obligation – tax purposes.
  • Legitimate interests in monitoring and improving our website and services.
  • Contract – users or resource partners that sign up or subscribe to join Womenin-Construction UK CIC website.

Notification data

The Company may process information that you provide to us for the purpose of subscribing to our email notifications and/or newsletters (“notification data”). Our newsletter may only be received by the user if;

(2) the user registers or agrees to receiving the newsletter.

A confirmation email will be sent to the email address a user/resource partner submits upon registering/subscribing for the first time advising you of your subscription and acceptance to receive notifications, newsletters and service updates. The confirmation email is used to prove whether the owner of the email address as the user is authorised to receive updates.

When the user registers, we also store the IP address of the computer system assigned by the Internet service provider (ISP) and used by the user at the time of the registration//subscribing, as well as the date and time of the registration. The purpose of the collection of this data is to legally protect the Company by ensuring understanding of the possible misuse of the email address of a user at a later date. The personal information collected as part of a registration/subscription will only be used to contact the user/resource partner for updates, newsletters and notifications.

The user may unsubscribe to email communication at any time. For the purpose of revoking consent, a corresponding link for unsubscribing is found in the email.

Enquiry data, correspondence data and customer relationship data

The Company may process information contained in any enquiry you submit to us regarding our website (“enquiry data”).
